We’d like to present to your attention more details about the latest service disturbance that you have been experiencing lately with our servers SupCenter100.com and SupCenter101.com. Both servers have been recently incorporated in our hosting platforms network of servers as an essential part of a future cluster system. Weve dedicated a great amount of efforts to ensure the trouble-free accomplishment of a data replication system that allows full synchronization between the two cluster-based servers.
The system had been working hassle-free since its integration until 9 PM GMT, yesterday, March 27th, when our administrators located a serious problem with the data replication functionality, largely due to unexpected complications of a network file system and data management nature. Despite our administrators timely intervention, we could not prevent the server performance problem from causing downtime to your websites. Immediate system recovery measures were taken, but they turned out to be more time-consuming than expected.
During the problem resolution process and restoration of the data replication system, the temporary full discontinuation of the online services was inevitable. The recovery procedure was completed at around 3 AM GMT and the services were brought back online. However, the performance quality was not restored to its original level until 9 AM GMT, March 28th. Now we can assure you that the servers are fully operational and that the data replication system issue has been completely eliminated.
We’d like to take full responsibility for the server performance problem that you have been encountering and to assure you that no data has been lost during the recovery procedure. Please be informed that we draw lessons from our mistakes and that all necessary steps have been taken to minimize the risk of such disruptions happening again.

The procedure will include addition of a set of brand new HDDs (hard disk drives) to the server hardware set-up, which will ensure better stability and higher-level performance of the server.
We guarantee that the information stored on the server will remain intact during the procedure and would like to thank you in advance for your understanding in this matter. As you are already aware, all maintenance procedures, we occasionally carry out, are aimed at improving the quality of our web hosting services and at boosting the performance of our server network.

We’d like to urgently present to your attention more information about the latest email service disturbance, the server your account is hosted on was suffering last night, in the period between 19:40 GMT+2 - 6:00 GMT+2, and give you correct explanation of the situation.
The e-mail functionality interruption was caused by a series of continual mail server requests, that is great amount of faulty mail server requests at a time, leading to very high load volumes and inbound/outbound service disruption.
With our administrators’ timely intervention, the problem was quickly diagnosed and corrective measures were immediately taken. During the time-consuming resolutioning process, the temporary full discontinuation of the SMTP and the partial unavailability of the POP3/IMAP servers were inevitable. Our administrators had to manually block flooding IP addresses in order to make sure that no legitimate requests are denied access to our mail servers. It might have been much more time-saving to use the automated ways of access-blocking, however that would have surely led to the blocking of entire networks with IP addresses not connected in any way with the problem. After the flooding was successfully deflected at 70-75%, our administrators’ were able to block all connections to the server for around 3 hours to retain the low load volumes and process faster the pending mail queue. During that period the SMTP service was completely unavailable while the POP3/IMAP retained partial availability.
Thanks to the urgent measures taken, our administrators managed to retrieve all e-mails received prior to, during and after the mail server disruption, and the ones that made it to the mail queue. All of these e-mails have been successfully delivered to the corresponding mail boxes. E-mails that did not reach the mail queue were bounced back to the sender’s mail server, leaving a corresponding temporary unavailability notice.
We take the full responsibility for the email functionality problem that you have been encountering during the up-mentioned period and would like to assure you that all necessary steps are now taken to be reduced the risk of such disruptions happening again and to be lowered the amount of any eventual damages.
