As you know, in April we launched the new Domain Manager with a lot of new features and an improved usability, but we did not stop there. We have implemented a new feature that we bet you’ll like. Until now, each domain that you registered or transferred through the Domain Manager had to be manually added to the Hosted Domains to work with your web hosting account. Although it didn’t seem to be a big problem, an additional action was required by you and knowing that time is money, we have tried to save some of yours.
More details about the new feature

The domain order procedure has been changed slightly and now it is smart enough to ask you whether you want to host the domain that you are registering, instead of leaving it with a “floating” status and use it at a later time. |
|
 |
But what if the web hosting plan that you have now does not allow you to host additional domains? Well, the system will check if your plan has available domain hosting slots and if there aren’t, it will suggest the most appropriate upgrade option. |
|
 |
At the last step, the complete information about the services that you have selected is displayed, so that you can see clearly what you are going to order and what the price for each service is. |
This improved order procedure makes it possible to register/transfer domain names and get them ready for use more easily than before. Having this in mind, we hope that you would consider taking advantage of this new functionality of the Domain Manager.

It is our pleasure to inform you that we have successfully implemented the previously announced back end upgrade to our billing system. Now you will be able to purchase services in a much more user friendly billing environment, where order processing and verification are much faster than before.
We would like to ask you for your feedback about the newly improved billing system. The more reports we receive, the more certain it will be that any eventual problems have been detected and therefore eliminated in good time by our team of developers on duty.
With this significant upgrade - we are paving the way for more upcoming introductions to our billing system in the foreseeable future, such as:
Recurring billing - this upgrade is intended to give you more freedom in terms of annual payment cycle set-up. Thus you will stop caring about expiration dates any more - renewals will be processed automatically if the option is chosen. This upgrade will be tightly connected with the introduction of banking into our billing system (our bank will be Barclays Bank, UK’s 3rd biggest bank), which will become the main payment method along with PayPal. The direct work with a bank will significantly cut off billing expenses, making our system much more cost-effective. The recurring billing solution is scheduled for release in August/September.
Multiple domain registrations for multiple years - this is a really important option for serious hosting business intentions, which is scheduled for release in July. You have been using intensively the multiple-domain-registration option for about an year now and that makes the multiple-year upgrade reasonable. With this upgrade your domain names will be protected against expiration and the page ranking of your web pages will be improved as well.

We’d like to announce that a back end upgrade of our billing system will be performed during this weekend, starting from 8AM GMT (3AM EST), Saturday, June 16, 2007. This upgrade initiative is intended to considerably improve the current billing system in terms of both speed and stability, thus facilitating order processing and verification.
Please be informed that the billing system upgrade will not be associated with any changes to the payment methods in use and the billing processors that we are working with. The payment procedure will remain the same with just a few aesthetic changes to the Sign Up page interface for a better user-friendliness.
The new billing system launch is scheduled for Saturday, since the weekend is generally less intensive in terms of new order placements. During the stipulated time period sign up and upgrade services may be interrupted intermittently. All activities should be completed by 2PM GMT (9AM EST), Saturday, June 16, 2007, and there shouldn’t be any problems after that time. If you, however, experience any problems, please let us know immediately, so that we could make certain that all possible issues are located and wiped out in good time.
We greatly apologize for any inconvenience this procedure may cause. However, we trust you appreciate our continuing efforts to improve the quality and performance of our online services.
