We would like to announce that we have scheduled hardware maintenance on supremecenter35.com. In the next 2 days, the three hard drives on server 35 will be replaced with new ones. This will lead to 3 instances of temporary service interruption of 30-40 minutes.
The hard drive replacement procedure will be the following:
1. The server will be shut down.
2. One of the 3 hard drives will be removed.
3. A new replacement hard drive will be installed.
4. The server will be rebooted
5. The server RAID will be rebuilt.
The procedure will be repeated 3 times until all of the hard drives on the server have been replaced with new ones.
The purpose of this scheduled maintenance procedure is to avoid any possibility for repeating of the RAID issues that happened with server 36 since it appears that the hard drives installed on servers 35 and 36 are not fully compatible with the chipset used on these server, which has lead to the RAID issues on server 36.

We are happy to make your e-mailing experience even more secure. From now on, our mail servers will be adjusted not to receive mail from mail servers whose hostnames do not resolve back properly by a reverse DNS lookup of their IPs.
This security restriction will prevent your mailboxes from receiving spam and junk e-mails because most of the spammers send mail from random addresses on servers which do not resolve back the correct hostnames. The reverse DNS lookup of the sender’s IP will also decrease the needed time for the messages to be delivered to your inbox and will generally improve your privacy.
UPDATE: The reverse DNS check for e-mails sent to e-mail addresses on our web hosting servers has been disabled.
