A new server has been added to our rack. The server configuration is P4 2.4 GHz, 1.5 GB memory & 36 GB SCSI hard drives in RAID5. All new modifications and Control Panel updates have been applied to all servers.

In the past few days we have been experiencing problems with the e-mail server. Sometimes customers were unable to send and even retrieve e-mails. This issue was caused by a couple of spammers, who we had to tackle. We had to re-write part of our scripts so we can catch the spammers and shut down their accounts. This issue is now solved and the e-mail is working properly.
Anyone intending to do business by spamming using our resources has come to the wrong place. All spammer accounts will be terminated instantly, no refund will be issued and all information will be provided to the legal authorities to take proper action!

Webmasters using OS Commerce and formmail scripts on our servers might experience problems setting up the posting of customer forms due to the following restriction in our mailserver:
Either the ‘From:’ or the ‘To:’ field of the form must contain an e-mail address hosted on our server.
By default, these forms use the webmaster’s e-mail address in the ‘From:’ field (which is usually hosted on a different server) and that’s the reason messages are rejected.
In this case please correct the ‘From:’ or the ‘To:’ field. Check the PHP/Perl section of the FAQ for a custom example of a working formmail script.
